Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Terrorist/Shame Video…
This one seems to start up right where the ‘Thuggin’ video ended (the home studio/closet). Apt, given that ‘Terrorist’ (the short song in the beginning of the video) is a song in the same vein as ‘Thuggin’. On the other hand, ‘Shame’ is a little more frivolous in nature; dealing with pimpin’ and the aftermath of a one-night stand.
As with the prior video, this shit is shot in slow motion and proves Dave Chappelle’s theory on slow motion/life/rap videos: everything is cooler in slow motion. Well, everything except something vaguely resembling domestic violence. But that heffa was moufing off anyways and that’ll bring the Ike Turner out in any real nigga. Gibbs is a real nigga. Sorry Cici.
The cocaina was cool though. Same with BJ the Chicago Kid’s brief cameo and the assortment of racially ambiguous junkies that traipsed through Gibbs’ apartment.
Can’t wait for the full length project. Same goes for every other Gibbs related project on deck this year…

all bullshit aside, the video’s proper (looks like Main and 2nd in Downtown, LA), the songs are fish grease, and the full length can’t drop soon enough.
